From soccer and homecoming queen to graduation and dyeing my hair brown, I have some pretty stellar experiences. Now that I've been in college for over a semester and was forced to grow up, I look back with a new perspective. One that's grateful for all I've experienced, good and bad. Those high school times are past and gone--I've learned a lot from them. And now it's time for some new friends, a new place, and new memories. It's time to look towards others instead of me, time to mature and grow. And let me tell ya, I am grateful for this opportunity, even if it makes me uncomfortable. Like the quote from H. Stanley Judd, "Don't be afraid to fail. Don't waste energy trying to cover up failure. Learn from your failures and go on to the next challenge. It's okay to fail. If you're not failing, you're not growing." So let's go fail some more, shall we? :)
